Jayden’s daycare is quite fabulous and they continually go out of their way to do special things for the little ones. One of the more prominent celebrations is the Spring/Easter Water Day! Todd and I of course could not miss Jayden’s first water day at school, so we took the day off to see J’s class in action! (And of course Jayden had a special outfit for the day!) They were all so precious decked out in their swim suits, hats and sunglasses! I swear I wanted to take the whole class home with me!
They started their morning off with a bounce house, which was hilarious because you had some kids laughing and some crying! Jayden had his hyena laugh going and was giggling as he ran in circles!
After the bounce house, they headed over to the blow up pool and slide. Of course the slide was too big for them, but the pool was perfect for the toddlers! J was in his glory once again because he is a fish when it comes to water! There were a few like J who adored it and were splashing around and then there were a few who did not appreciate being wet!
After the water, his class proceeded to the sidewalk chalk, merry-go-round and baby pools. (The pools were meant for the infants, but the toddlers were enthralled with stomping in them!) They had so much fun playing outside and soaking up the sun!
Lastly, after they changed out of their wet clothes it was time for their Easter egg hunt! Jayden could have cared less about picking up eggs! He was more interested in the toys he could play on outside!
I had an incredible time and wouldn’t have missed this for the world! How we love you J!
