Jayden's Jumperoo

Jayden's legs have been moving a mile a minute lately. He wants to sit up so badly. The harder he kicks the more he thinks he is going somewhere. So we thought it was officilly time to break out his jumperoo. Todd and I have been so exicited to give him this toy. We knew he would love it. He's so precious in it and when I see him I can't believe how big he is now. Here is a little clip of him in his jumperoo for the first time......

The Tikki Bar

Yesterday Jayden made his first appearance at the Tikki Bar in Clermont. It was such a beautiful day and Todd and I wanted to be outside so badly. So we decided to go have lunch by the lake with our little guy. Jayden enjoyed watching all the people and the little kids running around on the beach. The weather was ideal....lol even though I got a sunburn sitting in the shade!! Only an Irish girl can pull that off!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day to my two Valentines and to my wonderful friends and family! On this special day I want to share with you a few of my favorite love and friendship quotes:

You know you're in love when you don't want to fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams.  ~Dr. Seuss

What is a friend?  A single soul dwelling in two bodies.  ~Aristotle

Love is the condition in which the happiness of another person is essential to your own.  ~Robert Heinlein

Love is a canvas furnished by Nature and embroidered by imagination.  ~Voltaire

"Walking with a friend in the dark is better than walking alone in the light."
- Helen Keller

If I had a single flower for every time I think about you, I could walk forever in my garden.  ~Claudia Ghandi

"A real friend is one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out." -Walter Winchell

P.S. Jayden loves you all too!

Daddy Goes Shopping

Today is our off Friday at work. I was so excited to spend it with Jayden, but I woke up and felt terrible. I think with the lack of sleep I got run down and caught Todd's cold. We decided it would be best if we put Jayden in daycare for a few hours while Todd ran errands and I rested.

Todd took my car in and had it checked for a leak. While waiting, I had given him a little "honey do" list to pick up at Target. Now with Todd you have to understand that he sometimes veers from the list, so I never quite know what he's coming home with. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw him come upstairs with a big smile on his face. He told me that he couldn't help it, but he bought Jayden a few new outfits. He said he needed more clothes. (Lol, which isn't even close to the truth if you saw Jayden's closet!)

He was nervous when he showed them to me because he had never bought him clothes before. He hesitantly told me that if I didn't like any of them he would take them back. As he pulled them out of the bag I fell in love with them. They were so precious and I thought it was so thoughtful of Todd. It was cute because he didn't even know they were themed........

Todd clearly thinks Jayden is going to be a heartthrob!! (So does his mother!)

The Art of Spitting Up

Spitting up can come in all forms. I feel that Jayden has felt honor bound to introduce them all to me.

1) Dribbles down my cleavage
2) Splashes down my back
3) Drops in my crotch area (Which can be very embarrassing if in public!)

However, the true art form comes when projectile spit up comes into play. Usually I don't find this appealing, but tonight it wasn't aimed at me!
