This year we were one week late in getting our Christmas tree because our stand in Clermont never appeared! In the Shappard household, this was very disconcerting! I refuse to get a tree from Home Depot or Lowes because I hate not being able to walk around and look for holes and/or the fullness of each tree! Therefore, we went to desperate measures and drove to the next town over, Winter Garden, to purchase our tree!
I was desperately waiting to see J’s reaction to the trees and of course he never disappoints! Can you believe he wasn’t even interested!! He thought the fire extinguisher on the ground outside the tent was much more exciting!
We finally got him to come around when we ran into his Auntie Becca and Uncle Nick who happened to be picking out their tree as well! I do believe we all found the ideal tree….with Jayden’s help of course!
