Todd and I have nicknamed Jayden "Tank". He is not only compact (my future linebacker), but he is rough! He chooses to go over things, rather than around his obstacles. He giggles when he tips his train/toys over or falls down. Most importantly, he's not a crier. At most he'll cry for 30 seconds if he is hurt and then he just smiles!
Yesterday he lived up to his name when he fell not once, but twice at daycare. They called me so I would be aware that when I picked him up I would see a huge bump and scratch on his forehead. By now I have practice with not getting worked up with fear. (I try very hard not to overreact....especially with a little boy named Tank!)
Sure enough when I picked him up his precious face had quite a bruise, but how could you not love a face like this...........

Jayden's Nursery
We’ve had many requests for pictures of Jayden’s nursery. However, for some reason it’s taken me eight months until I finally took some pictures. This room is so special to me because Todd and I completed it together. Todd worked extremely hard on installing the chair railing and painting the beautiful colors on the wall. (He was so patient with me even after I changed my mind on the bottom color after he already painted one wall!) After many restless nights of researching, we finally found the perfect crib set and décor theme thanks to Daddy! We fell in love with Eli the elephant from Pottery Bark Kids. I knew it would be perfect for our little guy!
Every time I walk into his idyllic nursery my heart melts. Our precious Jayden, I hope you grow up to love your room! We love you!

P.S. Don't tell Todd, but I think I have a slight
shopping addiction when it comes to J!

The Arnold's 40th Wedding Anniversary
For you see, each day I love you more
Today more than yesterday and less than tomorrow.

Today more than yesterday and less than tomorrow.

A few weekends ago, we were able to share a special moment with a couple who has treated me as their own my entire life. Guerry and Carmen Arnold have been incredible role models for me and I couldn’t imagine not being a witness to the renewal of their vows on their 40th wedding anniversary. They have shaped my life and I not only love them as my second parents, but also as my friends.
We spent a beautiful weekend at Casey Key with the entire Arnold Clan! Here are a few pictures and a video clip of the memorable weekend!

Happy July 4th!
We have had an amazing July 4th weekend! We went to our first holiday party with kiddos Jayden's age. Our friends Olivia, Paul and Xander threw an awesome party and we had such a blast. J got a kick out of the ball pit for the little ones and Todd and I loved playing volleyball and cornhole!
I'd like to leave you tonight with the Pledge of Allegiance. With the controversy surrounding the pledge, I would like to say that Todd and I strongly support it being used within our school system, as well as using "one Nation under God" in the verse.
A crying train...priceless!
If you're wondering if we had our little princess, we didn't.
We borrowed Lilly from Eddie and Rosie!
As for today, we celebrated the 4th with a BBQ! We had mom, Cathy, Grandma and Grandpa over. (And the puppies of course!) We had a delicious meal and were entertained by my precious boy!
My All American Rocker!
"I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America,
and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible,
with liberty and justice for all.",
Happy Eight Months Jayden!!
You're officially eight months old today! You're growing like a weed and I can't wait to see the little man you grow up to be!
I love you!
